See also the ASN 1997 abstract from this same group. Two cases of tubulointerstitial nephropathy are reported in patients treated with indinavir. Renal biopsy showed extensive interstitial fibrosis, and indinavir crystals were found in the collecting tubules. The patients also were taking sulfadiazine or acyclovir.
