A nice study, but someone needs to inform these authors of the usual
definition of high vs. low flux. One of the dialyzers tested, the Althin
AN140 has substantial clearance of beta-2-microglobulin, and should therefore
be termed a high-flux dialyzer, despite a modest water permeability
coefficient, whereas the control dialyzer, the Baxter CA-210 has negligible
beta-2 clearance and hence is a low-flux dialyzer. (jtd)
